Episode 107 - A Job Well Done Visual Benedictions

This is a wonderful time of year to travel along the country lanes and see the beautiful fields and the healthful skies above. The green earth is beginning to turn to gold and soon the reddish harvest moon, like a beacon from another planet will beam down on our world.

Recently I received a letter from a writer and poet in Florida. Sarah Gray has given permission to use her beautiful thoughts in this week’s warm thoughts column.

God Owns it All

God owns the cattle on a thousand hills-

The gold in every mine,

The oceans deep - the mountains steep,

The red wood and the pine.

The meadows green; the country stream;

The rumbling waterfall,

All of these were created by His hand and God owns them all.

The dove on wing - the birds that sing.

He created summer, winter, autumn, spring.

The flowers in bloom -

The world in tune - with nature’s harmony,

Yes, God created all these including you and me.

He stretched the skies across open space,

And hung every star in place

He also hung the moon and sun,

His work was finished - it was a job well done.

-Sarah Gray

The autumn season of the year is a favorite season for many people. Someone may drop by to visit you ‘over a cup of tea’ and perhaps you can share Sarah’s lovely poem.

Words of Wisdom from the Voice of a Child: “God must listen to the prayers of Americans real close because he has given them so much to be thankful for.”

Have a beautiful autumn day!
