Episode 54 - A Tribute to Daughters Visual Benedictions

Recently I attended a mother daughter banquet. It was so interesting to see the mothers and daughters wear old fashioned hats. Those hats had stories to tell!

In my past columns I have shared thoughts giving tribute to mothers, mothers in law, mothers in love, and daughters in law, at another daughter banquet. A tribute was given to daughters, written by an unknown author. I would like to share these thoughts for daughters.

A Tribute to Daughters.

Sometimes you've been a handful as you'd be the first to say,

but you've always been a heartful, with warm and winning ways.

Some days you've been an angel, and some days that's not so true.

But you've always been disarming, and so charming being you.

Special to your friends and your family, special for the love you so freely give to others. Special for the faith you are always willing to share, special just for being you.

God has really blessed you. Not only have you grown into a woman of grace and beauty, but your life radiates the joy of Christ, which fills your heart.

You have touched so many lives with your caring ways.

Your life is an expression of the true meaning of love.

Warm Thought: There are only two lasting treasures we can give to our children. One is roots,

and the other is wings.

National family month is May 11th - June 15th, and is a great time to celebrate and promote supportive families.

Celebrate family!
