It is always a joy to have that extra hour in your life, in the fall of the year when the time changes. Change. Yes. Change is a way of life. The month of October makes us really aware of the joys we experience when seasons change in some parts of the world. In the month of October, there is also a Sunday called "mother in law's day". I call it, "mother-in-love," and then a column last May, I shared the poem by an unknown author entitled "Mother-in-Love." I would be glad to send you this beautiful poem, if you write me and ask for copy.
In checking my mother-in-law file with copies of the mother-in-law poem, I found thoughts from daughter-in-laws that brought to mind many warm thoughts. From the third world, a daughter-in-law refers to the mother-in-law, as "a mother so unique." A mother never tired. Whose love never grows old. So loving and caring. No one can forget. Man cannot compensate, but it teaches us lessons of a great mother whose love is always constant. Her hands never weary. Whose thoughts so wide, give peaceful words. Of special interest were the thoughts in my file about the daughter-in-law also written by an unknown author. A daughter-in-law is a joy to the heart, a very special part of a family's warmth and love.
October is a beautiful month, filled with many joys. Enjoy this season of beauty. And remember, it is the month we change our clocks. Warm Thoughts: All that I am, or ever hoped to be, I owe to an angel mother. Abraham Lincoln. May silent thanks, at least to God be given with a full heart. Our thoughts are heard in heaven. William Wordsworth. Have a beautiful and thankful autumn day.
